Our History
Great Wall Civil Engineering was founded in 1990 in Penang. We serve the construction industry over 30 years, successfully proving our utmost quality in service and valuable experience.
In Northern Peninsular Malaysia, we are a pioneer in demolition industry. We are the first to use hydraulic breaker and concrete crusher attachment on excavators to execute high rise, factory, steel warehouse and partial demolition work. We are registered under CIDB with B26 Demolition Certificate and achieve SPKK qualification.
In order to fulfill industry’s needs, we also provide excavation services (foundation and basement excavation work) and rental services for a wide range of machines (different ranges of excavators (2 to 60 tons) , hydraulic breaker, concrete crusher, mobile crusher, mini wheel loader, and heavy lorries).

1990 - Great Wall Civil Engineering formed in Penang
1993 - The first to acquire Backhoe with Breaker in Northern Peninsular
Malaysia
1997 - The first to acquire Excavator with Concrete Crusher in Northern
Peninsular Malaysia
2004 - The first to acquire Rammer Primary Concrete Crusher in Malaysia
2005 - Rewarded by a Japanese client for outstanding performance in demolition
project
2010 - Reaching a milestone of 1,000 demolition projects WITHOUT accidents
2013 - Involved in the Rescue Work during collapse of Penang Second Bridge
2015 - Acquired the largest Ultra High Reach Demolition Excavator in Penang
(30m High Reach)
2016 - Acquired 50-ton CAT Excavator with Breaker RAMMER G100, the largest
in Malaysia
2019 - Demolished Two Block High Rise at Georgetown WITHOUT accidents
and complaints
2021 - Demolished High Precision Chipset Factory while quality services are
being recognized by Japanese Contractor
2022 - Anti-dust cannon was first introduced to JKR on Demolished a 80 years
old Penang Hospital Bersalin
